Crystal Cathedral

Garden Grove, California. Not that I'm much into churches, I am something of a fan of architecture. Modern churches pale in comparison to the classic cathedrals of Europe, many of which have stood for many centuries. Will this example last for centuries? Or is it another example of our mass consumption culture and be replaced in mere decades?

Rich your photos are so beautiful. Modern churches here lack, well, character I guess. This one, I look at and say wow!

thx again for the good words, cal. and i will maintain your work is better.

crystal cathedral was started by televangelist robert schuller, who hosted the "hour of power" for many years. far as i can tell, it's non-denominational.
