He doesn't have to read it. Do you have to take heroin to disapprove of drug addiction? Harry Potter is about witchcraft. Witchcraft is condemned in the Bible. What else does the Pope need to know?
And yet, miracles with no other explanation are ok, as long as we prayed to God for them? Witchcraft by any other name is still witchcraft, right?
